Belgium Made Text-Walking Lanes For Phone Addicts

Belgian city of the Antwerp designed a special lane for smartphone addicts called “text walking lane”

Washington DC in US and Chongqing in China and now Antwerp in Belgium started to make it’s own “text walking lanes”. MLAB, that a  local smartphone specialist saw that plenty of people texting  while walking, then hit each other and drop their phones.The result is broken phones and their cost.

But now  Belgium Antwerp locals dont drop their phones and save their money thanks to  “text walking lanes” and they dont troubling other plain walkers.

In the street, people clearly see ‘TEXT WALKING LANE’ in white paint down of busy pedestrian walk area, and shopping , attraction street.

This experiment aimed at prevent broken screens of smartphone  and trashed cases when phone users hit the other pedestrians.

This is also part of kind of a social experiment for the channel’s Mind Over Masses science series,  to generate ideas about  “interactive solutions to everyday problems”.

But most of the pedestrians seems to ignored the capital letter marking sign.

In September Chongqing the Chinese city  made a lane specially painted for the smartphone addict people. This addiction problem is become one of the major issues of the China.
