With an international award-winning design contest, the Bosphorus was featured for the first time in a logo of Istanbul. Thanks to Beykoz municipality renewing its corporate identity the Bosphorus is immortalized in a logo.
The new logo with two ‘B’s representing Beykoz, space in between representing the Bosphorus and small fishes consisting of colored particles representing Beykoz glass is a real gem.
Beykoz, a place of history, nature and peace is progressing to become a brand city with a tourism vision. Beykoz mayor Yucel Celikbilek says; ‘As a result of the competition we had, a new logo is created reflecting the social and cultural color of Beykoz and its unique geographical location with modern lines. The new logo will bring dynamism to the district’s vision as well . May it bring good luck.’
Beykoz Municipality International Logo Contest was carried out with participation from 100 countries, 3,593 people’s applications, 4,880 works and 44 logos making it to the final.
