The beautiful Blacksea region city Giresun, its streets and historical places can now be explored with a phaeton. The more beautiful part is that the phaeton is totally eco-friendly because it works with electricity.
This service just introduced to the city and tourists was very appreciated.
The tour with the phaeton starts from the coast side of Giresun, continues to the park in front of the Municipilatiy called Atapark, then to the most famous street Gazi Caddesi and from the historical Kazancilar Carsisi (Coppersmith Market) to Giresun’s well known Castle.
The Director of Giresun Tourism Substructure Service Union Mr.Tamer Uzuner explained that: “2015 was announced in Giresun the year of tourism and therefore our practices gained a momentum accordingly. Especially after we opened the Island of Giresun to touristic tours, we saw the importance of new improvements. The increase in numbers of tourists who came to Giresun afterwards show us that we are on the right way. Giresun has a special boutique styled attraction when it comes to tourism and is a preferred destination for nature lovers and plateau explorers.”
He also added the significance of having an electrical phaeton in the city and continued: “We are definitely against the reality of animals carrying loads and therefore electrical phaeton was our first preference. On the other hand, it will keep the environment clean from exhaust gaz. The tour includes certain specific points both of historical and natural importance.”
