Google Travel Trends 2016 got released in September. The search engine reached the results of billions of searches in cooperation with travel brands marketing company; Sojern and the main results Google Travel Trends concluded are 5 cities which are; Reykjavik, Havana, Toronto, Mexico City and Tokyo.
The results also call for attention to audience demographic evaluation. Most people obviously turn to internet for research about places to go and their searches are obviously shaped by their interests and and hobbies but at the same time people turn to the internet for inspiration also. In another words, although people search according to their interests, they’re open to inspiration also.
So what do 2016 results show us? It comes out, women aged between 25 and 34, living in New York, interested in hiking, search for Reykjavik.
People who search for Havana are men, aged between 35 and 44 live in Florida and are movie lovers.
Toronto speaks to men 8 between 25 and 34 who are hockey lovers.
Men living in California and Texas and between 35 and 44 like to go to Mexico City and are football lovers.
And young people who search for Tokyo are technophiles, aged between 25 and 34, living in Havana.
