This high tech tool which created from entrepreneur Andreas Sjöström, to sweep through Stockholm’s hub without any ticket, passport or boarding passes with implanted chip.
Sjöström’s implanted chip which using with a near-field communication (NFC) located under his skin on his hand.
He using this chip thanks to Arlanda Airport have NFC readers. Actually this NFC readers never been used that way, they generally used for scanning through smartphones or contact less cards.
Sjöström is the first person who used NFC readers to scanning information inside implanted chip. the chip created by a tech company called Dangerous Things. He say process of implanting want painful at all. He says:
“The biggest surprise was the feeling of being able to identify myself without anything other than my body.”
“I didn’t have to pull out anything. It gave me a new sensation, sort of a pre-notion of what it will be like in the future when we don’t have to reach out with physical objects to accomplish things.”
“I’ve tried it with public transportation solutions, I’ve connected it to NFC-enabled door lock systems in offices,” he added. “I’ve succeeded with some and not with others. But if no one experiments, no one will find this out.”
Developing this type of implanting chips is easy to use because airports won’t be need any other devices more than currently have.
Sjöström also mentioned that, in the future we may not need to implanted chips because they could be stick outside of the skin with successfully without falling off.
