Mobile marketing will rise in travel sector significantly for travel industry.
Also continues to drive more bookings according to Adobe Digital Index special report called “Summer Travel” This report contains about very specific and prominent data about summer travel trends in United States of America.
This data include in ver 15 billion visits to major U.S. travel, airline and hotel sites between 2013 and 2015. Digital Index also analyzed more than three million social media mentions and spoke with 1,000 U.S. consumers to determine how the travel industry is with consumers. Summer travel is pegged to be at $65 billion online on travel between Memorial Day , Labor Day,, 4th of July and which comes in at 7% more than last year.
%20 bookings come from mobile phones and tablets, but this numer grow %6 than previous year accoring to the report.
$1 out of every $5 spent online travel comes from mobile devices. Accoridng to the survey, 1/3 of the customers they will unplug by going to the destinitaion limited or no mobile Wi-Fi connection.
According to principal of Adobe Digital Index Tamarra Gaffney;
” Because of the mobile-friendly nature of travel Web sites, we predict that this will be the first summer where purchases from phones surpass purchases from tablets in the travel industry ”
