David Bowie’s vacation home, named Mandalay Estate, was sold by his wife Iman after his death and now the English multimillionaire Simon Dolan, is opening the property up to renters for the first time for $70,000.
Mustique Island’s frequenters are; British celebrities like Mick Jagger, Jeremy Clarkson, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The island house, goes for rent in the low season for $40,000 a week. The house’s built in 1989 by Swedish architect Arne Hasslqvist and is situated on 6.2 acres on the island.
The Mandalay Estate still contains the bamboo-ceilinged recording studio of Bowie. For people who can spare the price, five-bedroom house with colourful Balinese living room doors and a gigantic swimming pool, around turquoise waters, stands still.
