Qatar Airways Plans to Launch World Longest Direct Flight

As you remember, for the couple of months ago airlines compete themselves to get “world’s longest flight” the latest airlines which join the fight became  Qatar Airways.

According to Qatar CEO Akbar Al Baker plans, direct flight from Doha Qatar  to Auckland, New Zealand. It will be take 18.5 hours direct flight. It will took  9,034-miles.

CEO Akbar Al Bakar told Bloomberg Business in Bahrain Air Show  about expansion  ” We are looking at many airlines. Either they will be successful airlines or they will be airlines where we see there is high potential and that potential is not being properly exercised.”

If this plan becomes reality , some of the passengers will experience what is like 18.5 hours direct flight.

Qatar Airways made no explanation about this flight yet.

The current record is helded by Australian budget airlines, Qantas with 15 hour flight from Sydney Australia to Dallas, Texas.

For gaining  “world’s longest flight “title Qatar Airways have to be quick because Singapore Airlines plan to resume service from Singapore to New York. This route will be take 19-hour, 9,521 mile flight.

The current title will be taken from Qantas with newest destination of the Emirates Airlines which will be planned to direct flight from Auckland to Dubai and it will be 17 hours and 35 minutes.

Direct flight which will take18 hours. Now all of the passenger thinking about safety and comfort.
