Stronger, Larger and Faster Aircrafts in 2017

Aircraft manufacturers are constantly planning, projecting, testing and producing for more comfortable, larger, stronger and faster aircrafts. This has not changed also in 2017.

Leading companies have shared the developments which will be configured into the aircrafts in the upcoming months.

Company Boeing is going to produce two new versions of the 737, MAX and MAX 9. The production of MAX 8 will be finalized at the first half of 2017. The MAX 8 will have capacity to fly 36 more passengers than the former ones. MAX 9 on the other hand will also be having extra seats for 16 passengers. However, MAX 9 is projected to be produced in 2018.

On the other hand, Boeing will introduce two new business jets too.

Airbus focuses on producing new aircrafts with stronger engines. A321neo and A330neo are the two names which will be given to the new ones.

A330neo is planned to have a larger body and will be in competition with Boeing’s Dreamliner. The test flights for model A350-1000 are finished and it will be introduced to airlines in the coming months.

Finally, manufacturer Embraer is also going to introduce two new aircrafts into the market. The target of the Brazilian company is to add E190-E2 and E195-E2 to the E2 series which will also be the largest ones produced until now.
