The Rendezvous Has Begun: the Turkish Cinema in Paris

The third “Meeting with Turkish Cinema” in Paris started yesterday and is going to end on the 18th of December.

With the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the event is hosted by Turkey’s Embassy in France.

UGC Normandie Theater on the Champs Elysee boulevard will be the meeting point for the movie fans in Paris.

One of the most important Turkish Actresses, Hale Soygazi is going to be awarded with the “Lifetime Achievement Award” wihtin the gala night and the opening film will be the “Rüzgarda Salınan Nilüfer – The Swaying Waterlily” film which was awarded in Montreal with the best scenario this year.

On the other hand, actors Songül Öden, Tolga Tekin and directors Seren Yüce and Hineer Salem are also going to attend the festival.

‘Rendez-vous avec le cinéma Turc a Paris’ appears to be Turkish cinema’s one of the most comprehensive and colorful cultural activities.
