Competition is finally teasing  between Uber and New York City taxicabs. Taxis in New York create a mobile ride hailing app to helping the competition of the Uber and taxicabs and introduced in innovation with cabs and customers: Way2ride

The apps name is Way2ride and opened in New York, it also planning to expand Philadelphia, Las Vegas, Boston, Miami and Washington, D.C. as well in next month for competing with Uber  thanks to Way2ride.

According to app maker Arro, this app downloaded 12.000 times in New York City.

As you all know like the other countries, Uber face some serious reactions to taxi drivers. And officials from New York agreed to limit Uber drivers in their city because of Uber drivers don’t include the enforcement that taxi drivers’ include.

Creative Mobil Technologies and Verifone has split the cab market of the City. After the growing threat of Uber and new apps agreed to launch Way2ride app. For  prevent further expansion of Uber’s market share.

Michael Woloz from Arro Technologies expressed:

“We expect both systems to be compatible with one another, thus creating total market share for yellows and greens, by the end of the year,”

“Passengers want to be able to get a ride with their phone, and taxis are still the predominant form of transportation in a city like New York,” Jason Gross said from Verifone Media
