It has been 50 years since First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy introduced the White House to millions on a TV Show. Now, Barack and Michelle Obama preferred the Virtual Reality (VR) technology and lead the millions through a visual and historical tour of the White House by also commenting with their own voices.
On 20 January 2017, President Obama is going leave his place to Donald Trump, the new President of the USA. The Obamas cooperated with the Felix & Paul Studios to shoot a VR tour film of the White House which went online yesterday.
Within the VR video, a 360-degree tour is seen through the house which also opens the door to many rooms which are normally closed to public, including the President’s private Office.
From the below given link and with Oculus VR technology you can join the amazing tour:
The People’s House is called the first video lasting around 7 minutes, but when the production is finalized it will be around 20 minutes and available towards the end of the year. The completed one will be in 3D technology and also include the real sounds during the shooting which enables the experiencer a more deeper reality.
The VR video is not the first one, two years ago, Google Expeditions made one also for students. However, the technology used this time is much more developed and the emotional and strong narrations of Barack and First Lady Michelle Obama make the experience fascinating.
Also, a wonderful farewell of their house, the public house and of their own where their daughters grew up.
