London being the world’s most expensive city for accommodation for the past three years, lost its lead in the category and delivered the lead to New York. In the list described by Savills when New York appears first on the list, London fell third in line after Brexit.
Real estate firm Savills’s analysis receives the data for how much is spent for employees’ accommodation on earth. According to the company outlook, NYC took top of the list after London voted against the EU and pound lost significant value.
The average annual accommodation in New York is $114.010 and with over 2% increase in rent has made the city twice as expensive as the technology capital San Francisco.
